Getting the Urge!
by Theburstbubble inevening folks, so as some of you may know we have recently decided to leave the witnesses and can see it for the man made organisation it is.
so, why do i get the urge to go back and feel guilty for not being there!
it's like my mind is telling me to be logical about it all but then something keeps pulling me back.. don't get me wrong i really want to break free from it all and i'm resisting the urge to go back as i have been miserable in the truth for a long time as i've known it's not right and want to do the best by my daughter.

Local Congregation Takes Away My Dad's Phone Hook-Up (HE'S 85 YRS. OLD)

they say that this is direction from the "branch office".
i think it's complete bs, the real reason why they are doing this is to punish me & my family because i am basically a ghost when it comes to meetings & any type of activity.

VA shooting suspect was raised a JW! He mentions it on his Twitter account

bryce williams (not real name, but on-air name) shot and killed 2 people on live television this morning in roanoke, va. he was wearing a go-pro camera, and uploaded his first-person video onto his social media accounts.
i've seen his twitter feed (before it was taken down), and not very far down he mentions being raised a jw.

Mental illness can be a dangerous thing when not under supervision and control. We have seen this time after time here in the US. They tend to shoot many people if not killing their own. People are too disconnected from their own families to protect against this problem. -

The school has been dumbed down extensively. Counsel is a joke. The only pain in the ass is the usual cancellation scourge. In that way it still sucks I believe. I understand the feeling of not having assignments. For awhile after I deleted myself it was odd and mostly boring to be at meetings. Being creative with parts kept me going longer than if I hadn't been an elder. Free at last! -

by Coded Logic inso this afternoon my roommate and i decided to go grab some dinner from the local chipotle and, as we live only a short distance from the franchise, we decided it was a good idea to walk.
little did i know that the j-dubs district convention here in sacramento was just getting out (the auditorium is literally smack in the middle of downtown and its attendees have to park in garages scattered a couple blocks away in every direction) so men in cheap suits and women in unflattering dress' were walking all over the place as though someone had antagonized their ungodly ant hill.
and, for sacramento, this of course is the complete opposite of the normative - that is to say, our streets are usually filled with well dressed, immaculately groomed, 'i know exactly where i'm going' government officials that monopolize the state capitol m-f. .
